More than 65 Caribbean Cruise Ships are expected to arrive in December 2021 and dock at the much improved Antigua cruise port which was reopened last October 2021.

The occasion was very special as the completion of the 5th berth allows the capacity to now receive more vessels in port. There was five ships berthed at the opening which made a captivating sight…

Today Nelson’s Dock Yard is a main tourist attraction for visitors from all over the world. There are many buildings and artifacts remaining as well as good parking, many vendors selling local goods, a bank and tasty restaurants.

When visiting Antigua & Barbuda you might feel as if you’ve arrived in paradise, but after driving around the island for a day or two you’d soon realize how stressful and hellish the roads are.  Apart from there hardly being any road signs to navigate around the island it’s also noted that most roads are too narrow to pass safely and many are not paved and full of dangerous potholes that can ruin the best of cars.

On September 1^st, 2021, two kayakers successfully circumnavigated the Caribbean island of Dominica. Dominica, also known as Waitukabuli in the Amerindian native tongue,  translates as “long is her body.” Our kayakers, Weston Moses and Kerry Alleyne, residents of Dominica, certainly came to know the truth of that translation over an expedition time of 4 days and 7 hours.

Commffest founder Sandie De Freitas has also turned her eye to Writing and Directing her first feature film.
